Discover ways to have a bundle of bookings, sensational sales, and reap a havest of recruits.
Let’s face it, the economy is tough right now. Throughout the country hostesses have canceled and bookings are down. The credit card you joined your direct sales party plan company to pay off is getting higher instead of lower. That car payment you wanted to take over is taking over you, and the j-o-b you wanted to quit is your newest security blanket.
Do any of these sound familiar?
- I had 8 parties on my calendar and only 3 held!
- The hostess called as I was going out the door to do her party, and canceled.
- I had 15 guests at the party. No one booked and sales were terrible.
- I called 20 people and got only 1 booked.
Yet with the economic challenges, there are people that have all the parties they want, high sales, and are building a bigger and better team. How are they doing it? What do they know that you don’t?
I’ve been there folks! I built my business in Northern Wisconsin, a tourist dependent area. We had two winters in a row where we had no snow. That meant no snowmobiles trails were open, no availability to cross country skiing, no winter sports. Resorts and motels throughout the area had their phones ringing off the hook with guests canceling their reservations. One supper club had a sign saying, “Stop in for lunch - than we can both eat!” There were public service announcements on the radio asking the locals to have their out-of-town guests stay at area resorts and hotels instead of in their homes. It was bleak folks. It was VERY bleak!
Yet this was the very time, in the midst of all this turmoil, that I had people standing in line at my parties to book. This was the time I earned a major promotion from my company that was based on sales.
I’ve been where you are and I not only made it - I triumphed!
