I’m late in providing you this information and for that I apologize! The great Deb Bixler has a fantastic offer for everyone who is involved in direct sales. Here’s the information that Deb provided to me.
Have you registered for the Summer Speaker In The Park tele-seminar series? We have over 100 already registered for this awesome event! Like all of our Power Hour calls there is no change and registration is required so that I am sure I have a conference bridge that will handle the crowd!! http://www.SpeakersInThePark.com
Pass this on to your friends! Lisa Nichols is kicking off the event on May 20th @ 9:15 PM Eastern time. Lisa is a contributor to two of the largest self-development phenomena in history: She was a featured teacher in the hit DVD The Secret, and she wrote two books in the bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul series. I promised her 200 attendance so pass this on!
If you are gong out of town at all this Summer the only sure way to be sure you get every call is to sign up for the downloads or join the Elite Club. Just go to http://www.SpeakersInThePark.com and sign up for either one then the day after each call you will get an email with a password allowing you to download the calls and listen to them at your leisure. This is terrific value and an insurance just in case you miss one or the call-in lines are busy or that you just plain forget.
- When you sign up for the Speakers In The Park MP3s for only $67 you get all 8 Speakers In The Park calls.
- Or join the Elite Club for only $97 for a whole year of Power Hour Elite Club MP3 downloads. (3 per month and 10 there already so that is 46 hours of training!)

Happy Mother’s Day! I just got home from spending the week-end with my son - we celebrated his birthday and Mother’s Day by going to a Brewers game. Fun!
As I was driving home I started thinking about my mom, who left us 15 months ago at the age of 97. What a grand woman she was, and how I miss her! I was also thinking of all the other women who have influenced my life.
There are so many! Some are friends like Jan who has been my friend since before we can remember. Others, like Julie, has been my friend since we were college room-mates. There’s Kathy who has enriched my life for the past ten or so years. Each has brought so much to my life and I can only hope I have brought good to theirs.
But there is one special woman who has enriched my life since I was 16 years old. Her name is Sister Teresa Schueller and she has been a second mother to me. Sister Teresa has been there for me in thick and thin. She wisely wrote “enjoy watching your son become” when I gave birth to the baby who, now as an adult, took me to that Brewers game. When I got divorced she told me life again would be sweet. When I remarried she congratulated me, and when I had a miscarriage in that marriage she cried with me. Four years ago when my husband died, she cried with me again.
Throughout my life Sister Teresa has “been there” for me. She has been my biggest supporter and has offered my a shoulder to cry on. She has been one of the few people in my life who has unconditionally loved me.
Who are the women in your life who have supported you? Who are the women in your life who have made a difference? Have you wished them a Happy Mother’s Day today?
V5! That’s a virtual high five to all of you mother’s out there who have walked the floor with a sick child, stayed awake waiting to hear a car come into the driveway, helped mend a broken 16 year old heart, worried yourself grey and been prouder then you ever thought you could be because your child accomplished something. Someone said being a mother means allowing your heart to walk around outside of your body. How very true that is.
V5! That’s another virtual high five to all of you who aren’t mothers but have loved someone else’s child. Maybe you’ve been a special and important part of someone’s life. Maybe you’ve “been there” for someone.
…and Sister Teresa … Happy Mother’s Day!

If I asked you what works in your direct sales business what would you answer? Would you have an answer? Have you ever sat down and really analyzed your business, and what you’re doing in it? Have you figured out what is working for you and what doesn’t work for you?
Let’s say you are doing a presentation with 15 guests and you book 4 and the hostess books again. Not only that, but, three people are interested in recruiting. The next party you do you also have 15 guests but you don’t get any bookings and no one wants your information about your opportunity. Were you lucky one night and not the other?
Luck really has very little to do with it!

If you have been following me for even a little while you know that my belief is, everything you say and do at your party plan selling demonstration should be said or done to promote higher sales, more bookings and create interest in recruiting. Those of us who work in the direct sales industry need to understand that, although our work environment is a party, we are not guests at the party. We need to maintain a level of professionalism, and a part of professionalism includes the area of trust.

I just receive this and wanted to share it with you.
Ruth Fuersten’s phone conference series “How To Grow Your Business In A Down Economy” has been such a blessing. The knowledge she possesses is priceless! My learning ranged from my own emotional take on my direct sales business to how to organize all the information that is collected from each client, and how to use that information to grow my business. Ruth helped me to realize that if I get discouraged I can always turn it into something positive! I highly encourage anyone who is in direct sales business to get on the “How To Grow Your Business In A Down Economy” calls. I am excited to be able to use this priceless knowledge to “Grow MY Business.” With Ruth’s experience and expertise at my fingertips the sky is the limit!
Thanks Ruth!
Jen S.
Ohio
Jen learned a lot and she is going forward with her business even though there is a down economy. If you’ve been thinking about joining me for the “How To Grow Your Business In A Down Economy” calls I’m doing them one last time starting March 1st and continuing on March 8th, 22nd and 29th.
Not only do you get valuable information to move your business forward in this economy, but you’ll also receive my book, “How To Book, Sell, and Recruit Your Way To Success” in e-book format. Plus you’ll receive an audio download of each and every call. You’ll also receive a free, hour long, one-on-one coaching call from me, personally.
If you were to buy each of these items separately it would cost you hundreds of dollars, but the price to you is only $79! Not being on these calls could cost you thousands!
Look to the right and you’ll see a button to click to get registered for the calls. But hurry! There’s only 2 days left before the calls start.

If bookings are the life-blood of direct sales then our hostesses are the medical personnel providing the transfusion. Just like medical personnel, our hostesses need training, and that training takes place every time we do hostess coaching. You don’t just coach a hostess once, hand her the hostess packet and wish her good luck. Great hostesses aren’t born - they’re created. So how do you create great hostesses?
